FREEWRITER'S WORKSHOP with Eric Schmiedl For people who identify as part of the Latinx community Explore the form and structure of dramat­ic writing and create a short play in Spanish or English for Teatro Público de Cleveland's Obras En Evolución 2023, a works-in-progress new play festival in March! WORKSHOP DATES Wednesday, February 15 at 6:00 pm Saturday, February 18 at 12:00 pm Wednesday, February 22 at 6:00 pm Saturday, February 25 at 12:00 pm WHAT: This 4-day writing workshop is de­signed to guide the writer to a completed draft of an original short play or excerpt from a longer play. Participation in all 4 sessions is highly encouraged. English or Spanish fluency is not needed for the workshop. However, sup­port in both languages will be available during all sessions. WHO: This program is for adults 18 and over who are interested in creating theatre with a local Latino theatre company whose work re­flects the artistic goals, interests, and ideals of its members with the goal to fulfill CPT's mis­sion to raise consciousness and nurture com­passion through groundbreaking performanc­es and life-changing education programs.
