Children and their stuffed friends will go on bear hunts, act out their favorite stories, sing songs and make crafts. The bears and kiddos will take the stage in a picnic jamboree. We guarantee a roaring good time. Saturdays, 9:30 - 10:15 a.m. Ages 3-5 Tuition: $140.00 Places, Please Take your drama to the stage with this introduction to theatre class. Students will explore wacky characters, exciting stories, and learn the basics of performing on stage. Saturdays, 10:30 - 11:30 a.m. Ages 5-8 Tuition: $170.00 Star Struck Challenge your child's imagination as you empower him or her to take center stage. This class will focus on script work, creating characters with motivation, and performing on stage. You will be amazed and dazzled! Saturdays, 9:15- 10:15 a.m. Ages 8-11 Tuition: $170.00 Enter Stage Right The lights are up and it is time to Enter Stage Right. Each student will work on individual and group acting technique through improvisations and scripted work. Students will also learn self-confidence and how to take direction in a theatrical setting. Saturdays, 10:30 a.m. - 11:45 a.m. Ages 11-14 Tuition: $170.00 Musical Theatre, Act One Gotta Sing, Gotta Dance - Gotta Take Musical Theatre. Students will sing, dance, and act their way to Broadway with this fun and interactive class. Children will focus on group singing, creative and choreographed movement and beginning acting technique. Saturdays, 9:15 - 10:15 a.m. Ages 5-8 Tuition: $180.00 Musical Theatre, Act Two Looking for a toe-tapping good time? We have just the class for you. Students will cover the objectives in Act One and will be challenged with more complex choreography, solo singing, and acting technique. Saturdays, 10:30 - 11:45 a.m. Ages 8-12 Tuition: $180.00 Broadway Tap Are your toes feeling blue? Come tap your troubles away with this beginning/intermediate fast-paced class. Students will learn tap technique so they can really "shuffle off to Buffalo." Saturdays, 12:15 - 1:00 p.m. Ages 7-14 Tuition: $105.00 Advanced Musical Theatre This class is designed for students with previous class and/or stage experience. This class is designed to hone your talents and make you a true triple threat. Students will focus on advanced acting, singing, and dance technique. Saturdays, 12:30 - 2:00 p.m. Ages 10-16 Tuition: $200.00 Advanced Acting This class is designed for students who have had previous class and/or stage experience. Students will be challenged with new monologues and script work aimed at creating complex characters. Refine your talents and be the actor you have always dreamed of. Saturdays, 12:30 - 2:00 p.m. Ages 12-16 Tuition: $180.00 Broadway Bodies In addition to the youth classes, Weathervane wants adults to get moving and parents to be involved while their children are in class. Adults and teens 14 and up of all skills levels are invited to exercise and have fun by spending Saturday mornings dancing in this NEW adult dance class.
