Fairmount Center for the Arts is a non-profit multi arts center in Geauga county. Fairmount offers programs for toddlers through seniors in dance, music, theatre and visual arts. *We are looking for a music instructor for the week of June 5th through the 9th to lead an afternoon music camp.* Instructors will teach students beginning Ukulele and Recorder. Instructors will also facilitate snack break time. Camp will run from 1-4pm (15 hours total) at Fairmount Center for the Arts (8400 Fairmount Road, Novelty, OH 44072). Camp maximum will be set to no more than 15 students. Job Duties & Responsibilities: - Lead lessons in Ukulele & Recorder for 3rd to 5th Grade Students. Develop an interactive lesson plan for the week to teach children the basics of Ukulele & Recorder. - Building a body of work to be shared out for a culminating performance at the end of the week. Performance will be the last 15-20 minutes of camp on Friday during a Share Day with parents, funders, and staff. - This music camp is fully supported by The Ashly Whitmer Correa Foundation through Ashly's Melody of Hope Summer Music Camp.
