Rubber City Shakespeare Company seeks a part-time Managing Director. Rubber City Shakespeare Company is now in its third year, operating a $50,000+ budget, and produces six shows per artistic year. This is a part-time position, 15-20 hours per week, flexible. Job Duties includes: - Oversee all administrative staff members - Assist with Job Duties of the marketing manager - Help with major fundraisers (working with fundraising Board committee) - Applying for foundation and corporation grants - Applying for corporate sponsorships - Cultivate and advance Individual giving - Assisting with the organization and execution of fundraising events - Assist in selling ads for the playbill - Maintain budget - Approve business forms - Issue pay checks and approve payroll Preferred Qualifications: - Experience in nonprofit environments. - Experience in applying for grants or sponsorships. - Experience working with Microsoft Office, Quickbooks, and Google Drive. - Someone who is excited about working for a newer nonprofit.
