East Cleveland Theater is looking for a stage manager(s) for 2 of its upcoming productions: *1. **August Wilson's Jitney* Radio Golf takes place in the 1970s and is the 8th play of The American Century Cycle, his ten-part cycle that looks at African-American life throughout the 20th century, primarily in the Hill District of Pittsburgh. Production Dates: February 02 thru 25, 2018, with shows on Fridays and Saturdays at 8pm, and shows on Sundays at 3pm … 11 shows in all. There is NO performance on Feb 04, Super Bowl Sunday. Cast: 8 men, 1 woman (all black actors will be necessary) Auditions: Probably scheduled sometime late October, early November. *2. **Exit the Body, by Fred Carmichael* Exit the Body is a 3-act comedy farce, with some mystery thrown in. Production Dates: May 04 thru 20, 2018, with shows on Fridays and Saturdays at 8pm, and shows on Sundays at 3pm … 9 shows in all. Cast: 5 men, 5 women Auditions: Probably scheduled sometime in January, February timeframe. ECT typically has a 6-week rehearsal schedule, including Tech Week, but that can vary depending on the director.
