The Box Office Assistant will work four hours per day,Wednesday through Saturday during mainstage performance weeks. This includes the preparation ofconcessions, overseeing ushers, programs and patron issues. Duties include, butare not limited to the following:-       Assigning ushers toneeded positions-       Instructing ushers intheir responsibilities prior to, during and after performances-       Ensuring the theatre,lobby and restrooms areas are clean and orderly  -       Stocking and preparingconcessions prior to performances  -       Taking inventory ofconcession items to ensure proper stocking-       Overseeing thestuffing and distribution of programs and flyers prior to the performances-       Answering questionsfrom volunteers and patrons in an accurate manner.-       Preparing and sendingHouse Management Report-       Confirming opening ofthe house with Stage Manager-       Arranging for specialseating needs (i.e. handicapped, hearing or sight impaired, VIPs)-       Assisting with openingnight parties and other receptions EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONSApplicants should exhibit a positive attitude, enjoy workingwith wide variety of people and present themselves as a professionalrepresentative of Dobama Theatre.
