WHO:  Miss Audra McDonald
           Soprano Audra McDonald received her Tony Awards for her 
performances 
on Broadway for "Ragtime", "Carousel" and "Master Class".  Miss McDonald will 

be performing an enchanting evening of popular songs from Broadway and film 
with music of composers from Ellington to Gershwin.  On television, Ms. 
McDonald was recently nominated for an Emmy Award for her portrayal of Nurse 
Susie Monihan on the HBO film "Wit".

WHY:        To support the fundraising efforts at HCFW.
                 For the past 23 years HCFW has operated as a residential 
treatment center for homeless women and their children.  During that time 
HCFW has served over 10,000 women.  HCFW is committed to empowering women to 
live productive, chemically free lives through wholistic healing. HCFW is the 

ONLY residential treatment facility for women and their children in 
northeastern Ohio.
