"BRIGADOON is a dreamy delight to see" Kerry Clawson - Akron Beacon Journal

The classic Lerner & Loewe musical, BRIGADOON, opened this weekend at
Porthouse Theatre. Friday, Saturday, and Sunday were sold out performances
with audiences leaping to their feet at the curtain call.

"Deep down, all of us want to believe in fairy tales. Porthouse Theatre
delivers plenty of magic with its production of the mythical musical
BRIGADOON...Everything about this Lerner and Loewe show is sweeping and grand,
from its large cast of 30 highly talented lads and lassies to its majestic
music and dreamy set." Kerry Clawson - Akron Beacon Journal

BRIGADOON is an enchanted Scottish town that comes to life once every hundred
years. Two American hunters stumble into the town on it's day of
reappearance. Inevitably, one of the Americans, Tommy, falls in love with one
of the town's lassies. He now must decide if he should remain in BRIGADOON
and leave his other life behind or return to New York without his love. A
charming love story full of extraordinary music and amazing dance, that proves
anything is possible, including a miracle, if you love enough. Discover if
Tommy stays in Brigadoon or returns to New York. Order tickets now by calling
330-672-2497 or 1-800-304-2363. BRIGADOON runs until August 11 with
performances Tuesday - Saturday at 8 PM and Sunday at 2 PM. Tickets are
selling quickly so don't delay. The box office is open from 12 PM - 6 PM,
Monday through Saturday and accepts MasterCard, Visa or Discover.

"BRIGADOON brings to an end a very impressive season at Porthouse. Terri Kent
and her staff deserve a curtain call for taking this Kent State University
summer project to a higher level than has been experienced in the past.
Kudos!" Roy Berko - The Times Newspapers
