For immediate release:

Actor's Repertory Company
of Ohio

The Actors Repertory Company of Ohio is currently accepting resumes for
directors for their upcoming production of Bram Stoker's Dracula, written by
local playwright, Jack L. Herman.

The production will be held at the Kent Stage, 175 E. Main Street in Kent.

Production dates are: October 18, 19, 20, 25 & 26th 2002

This is a paid position. Interested applicants should contact the Actor's
Repertory Company either by email at: actorsrepcomp at aol.com or call
330-673-5378.

Synopsis of the play:

Area staging. Easy cast of twelve (7M, 5F).

Cast of Characters:
       Three Vampire Vixens
       Dr. Jack Seward
       Jonathan Harker
       Arthur Holmwood
       Quincey Morris
       Mina Murray (Harker)
       Lucy Westenra
       R.M. Renfield
       Professor Van Helsing
       Count Dracula

Closely following the original novel in form and spirit. The legendary Count
Dracula is first seen as a very old man. Throughout the play, he becomes
younger...and younger. At the end, Dracula is the epitome of the
attractiveness of Evil.  Seductively he draws his victims into his arms;
mesmerized, trancelike, willing, and unafraid.

Dripping with realism and exploding with horrifying special effects,
audiences will be truly frightened by Bram Stoker's DRACULA. From his
arrival in England as a ravenous wolf to the bloody death of Lucy when a
stake is driven through her heart, audiences will sit spellbound and tingling
with fear. And the final confrontation between good and evil will have the
audience on the edge of their seats.

The relatively small cast and simple staging offers a unique challenge to
actors and directors. A powerful, terrifying event for all.
