Auditions for 
A...My Name Will Always Be Alice

November 15, 2002...The Eugene S. & Blanche R. Halle Theatre will be holding
auditions for the production of A...My Name Will Always Be Alice, written by
Joan Micklin Silver and Julianne Boyd.  This production will be directed by
Douglas Farren with music direction by Marc Baker and choreography by Eric
van Baars.  Auditions will be held by appointment on Monday, December 9th
and Wednesday, December 11th from 7:30 - 10:30pm.  The auditions will take
place at the Jewish Community Center, located at 3505 Mayfield Road in
Cleveland Heights.  If necessary, callbacks will be held on Monday, December
16th at 7:00pm.    

Auditioners should prepare one song and an optional monologue if desired.
Two of the five roles have been cast.  Roles are available for three women:
one ingenue (able to play early 20s or younger), one African-American blues
and gospel singer, and one woman of any age or nationality.  Actors may be
Equity or non-Equity.  All positions paid.  Rehearsals will begin the week
of March 31, 2003.  The show runs Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays from May
8 - May 25, 2003.
