Internationally Acclaimed Miro Quartet Performs at Fine Arts

The internationally acclaimed Miro String Quartet will perform in the
Corning Auditorium of the Fine Arts Association in Willoughby Friday,
January 18 at 8 pm.
The Quartet has performed numerous concerts internationally, including
Carnegie Hall’s Weill Recital Hall, Merkin Recital Hall in New York, the
Kennedy Center in Washington, DC, and at the Jerusalem Music Center in
Israel at the request of Isaac Stern.  The group toured Europe extensively
as part of Carnegie Hall’s Distinctive Debut Series and has appeared on NBC’
s “Today” show and as guests on various programs of the Canadian
Broadcasting Company.   In addition, the Quartet has been featured on radio
networks in France, Germany and Spain, and on National Public Radio and
Minnesota Public Radio.

Members, Daniel Ching, violin; Sandy Yamamoto, violin; John C.A. Largess,
viola; and Joshua Gindele, cello have been described as “playing with
emotional depth and passion” whose performance is “wild, intimate, spirited
and full.”

Tickets for the Miro Quartet concert are $12/Reserved Seating and can be
purchased by calling the Fine Arts Box Office at (440) 951-6637.  Tickets
will also be available at the Box Office, beginning one hour prior to the
performance.
