Okay. Okay.

While the debate is healthy, and while there are many voices, it seems, on
both sides of the argument...I think that if Jeff compiled all the names
that have rallied in his support, he could have a pretty substantial "Mike
and Ike" listserv, that would a) be focused on the people who actually read
the reviews, and b) not impede the strength and general intent of this email
list.

I, for one, am a big proponent of being creative and getting one's work
exposed, but i think this recent "crisis" has taught us how effective DIRECT
marketing can be, and how different people have different definitions of
"Spam."

Please let us know where we can sign up for such a list. And congratulations
on the fact that your writing has so successfully created its own movement.
No offense to the theater "critics" who post here, but I doubt if many of
them would be able to match your success rate were they to ask for voluntary
subcriptions to their own reviews...
