LOCAL ARTS AGENCIES: CRISIS AND OPPORTUNITY
www.AmericansForTheArts.org/services/events/eventsa.asp?id=1168
Dates: May 2003. Americans for the Arts recently asked Bill Keens of Wolf,
Keens & Company to conduct research on the state of the local arts agency
field during these challenging times. Bill spoke with 28 local arts agencies
from all regions of the country about the economic and philanthropic
conditions in their communities and the strategies they have employed or
would like to employ to address the challenges they face. By collecting this
information, Americans for the Arts will be better able to respond to the
current needs of the field, track actual economic conditions and strategies
for success, and share what was learned in a timely manner. Now that the
research and analysis are complete, we are inviting you to be among the
first to discuss his findings in one of six audioconferences. These
moderated, interactive, and live conference call opportunities are free to
all participants. Invite your colleagues to join you for the 90-minute call
at your site.
