Provides high quality and responsive delivery of technical services and
support for a 400+ seat educational theatre environment. Assists the
Dean with management of campus theatre facilities Manages the technical
aspects of production for the theatre department. Facilitates
management and maintenance including planning, design, specification,
purchase, installation, inventory and maintenance of production
technical systems. Supports and directs planning, design and
actualization of enhancements of the public and operational spaces of
the theatre. Develops and overseas department budget. Collaborates
with appropriate college staff in facilities scheduling, usage and
client relations. Supervises, directs and evaluates staff. =20

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree in a Technical Theater
discipline area. Minimum five year's experience in theatrical
production at the college, professional or community based level.
Experienced in scenic construction, painting, welding and rigging.
Working knowledge and experienced in the use of drafting technology
(CAD). Demonstrated organizational and communications skills.
Demonstrated experience and success in educational theater.
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with community-based and
arts organizations. Experience promoting an managing an effective
theatre learning environment. Ability to work effectively and manage
staff in a diverse environment. Sensitivity to appropriately respond to
the needs of a diverse population.
