Cleveland Yucks presents Queer Factor, an evening of gay themed stand up
comedy featuring veteran performer Bryan Lee Emler on Friday October 17th at
the Cleveland Black Box Theatre, 1210 West 6th Street.  Also appearing will
be Roxane Larimore, winner of the 2003 “Laugh Out Proud” competition at the
Cleveland Improv, and local funnyman Mike Dodge assuming the emcee duties.

Bryan Lee Emler - Bryan Lee Emler has been performing for 14 years and
continues to grow as an artist. Since a 1996 private professional showcase
in Los Angeles, Bryan has written, staged, and been touring his own original
stand-up comedy extravaganza. This show combines his wicked sense of humor
and biting satirical delivery with all the glitz of a Las Vegas showgirl. "I
take on so many personalities, I feel like Sybil, except I'm prettier."

In addition to performing comedy, Bryan has also been featured as a writer
in a number of books and publications including From The Stage To The Stove:
World's Funniest Cookbook by Thomas Brown, The Comedy Bible by Judy Carter,
and the upcoming Stand Up And Don't Fall Down: Stories Of Comics On The Road
by Rob Twohy. Bryan also writes comedy articles for the website TREMONSTER.
Bryan was has been featured on THE CAROLINE RHEA SHOW and THE JEREMY BORGER
SHOW. He can also be seen in the upcoming Universal Pictures release of
SEABISCUIT also starring Tobey Maguire. Bryan can currently be seen on
Amherst City Cable's newest television series, THE WACC'Y MOVIE SHOW.

Roxane Larimore – A newcomer out of the Columbus area, Roxane won the “Laugh
Out Proud” comedy competition at the Cleveland Improv in what was only her
third time on stage as a comic. She not only won cash, a trophy and a spot
at the Pridefest main stage, but she also won a ride in the Pridefest
parade! Her escort was none other than Batman in his 1957 Batmobile!

Mike Dodge – Another new to the scene local, Dodge holds his own with his
unique brand of folksy, story based humor. Dodge will be emceeing the
evening.

Show starts at 8:00 p.m. Doors open at 7:30. You can BYOB at this venue.
