Directed by Associate Professor Eric van Baars, WORKING finishes its=20
run October 9 - 12, 2003 at Kent State University=92s School of Theatre &=

Dance.  This musical about the everyday lives of blue collar workers=20
takes place in the Wright-Curtis Theatre of the Music & Speech Building=20
on the main Kent State University campus.

=93Working for a living the whole day long, all the livelong day.=94=20
This is the lament of the people at the beginning of WORKING.  Based on=20
interviews of blue collar workers from Studs Terkel=92s book of the same=20
name, WORKING, is a touching look at the everyday lives of workers from=20
truckers to waitresses to masons to house wives.  Directed by Associate=20
Professor, Eric van Baars, the everyday lives of these workers come are=20
exposed on the Wright-Curtis Stage through rock n=92 roll, country and=20
blues music.  WORKING runs October 3 =96 12, 2003.  Performances are=20
Tuesdays =96 Saturdays at 8 PM and Sundays at 2:30 PM.

School of Theatre & Dance performances are Tuesdays =96 Saturdays at 8 PM=
=20
and Sundays at 2:30 PM.  Theatres are located in the Music & Speech=20
Center on the main Kent State University campus.  Tickets are $10 for=20
adults, $8 for Seniors, KSU Alumni and KSU Faculty/Staff and $7 for=20
students under 18 or with any valid school ID.  Discounts are available=20
for groups of ten or more.  Box-office hours are 12 PM =96 5 PM, Mondays=20
=96 Fridays and one hour before performance times.  Tickets can be=20
purchased by calling 330-672-2497.  The box office accepts Visa,=20
MasterCard, and Discover.  Tickets purchased by phone must be held with=20
