Cleveland, OH – June 18th, 2004 –Don’t miss an exciting evening of improvisational and sketch comedy performed by four of Cleveland’s top comedy groups. This brand new event, The Cleveland Comedy Benefit, will take place at the Odeon Concert Club on Friday June 18th at 8pm, with all proceeds being donated to the American Red Cross, Greater Cleveland Chapter. Hosted by JACK HOURIGAN from WUAB 43 "The Block"

Performances at the Cleveland Comedy Benefit include:

Quatro: Comprised of  four former cast members of Second City Cleveland 
and Pickwick and Frolic's "Oliver Twisted", Quatro presents long form improvisational
comedy with hilarious results. 

Cabaret Dada: Something Dada has been a cornerstone of Cleveland
improvisational comedy since 1994.  With their eclectic collection of structures, 
songs, and audience interaction, Something Dada presents an outrageous, uproarious

Last Call Cleveland: Last Call Cleveland has been performing televised 
and staged sketch comedy since 1999.  Their multi-media shows comprised of 
humorous songs, taped sketches, and live comedy offer a unique and entertaining audience experience.

The Public Squares: Many of the members of this sketch comedy group are
students and graduates of the Second City Training Center. The troupe tackles relationships and topical humor through memorable characters in this high-energy sketch

Dear GroundWorks fans,

We're coming back to Cain Park July 2nd and 3rd for a special performance in the Alma Theater. Please come and join us and celebrate summer in beautiful Cain Park!

Advance tickets are available for $18 & $16
Tickets are priced at $23 & $21 the day of performance.  
Seniors and students with a valid ID receive a $2 discount; military personal with a valid ID receive a $3 discount for up to two people per ID.

This program features three captivating and varied works: 

Major to Minor: This sassy and ever popular work is performed to the recorded vocal melodies of some of jazz’s greatest singers.
  
Circadian: A powerful duet first performed in the spring of 2000, Circadian is about the forces of attraction, conveyed through a dance of increasing pace and intensity against a backdrop of adrenaline-pumping music.
 
The Book of Water: Shimotakahara’s newest work!
