AUDITION RELEASE
Weathervane Playhouse Announces
OPEN CALL Auditions for 
"NOISES OFF"

Sunday, July 18 at 6 p.m.
Monday, July 19 at 7:00 p.m.
Callbacks, if necessary, will be held either July 20, 21 OR 22 at 7:00 p.m.
Auditions will be held at Weathervane Playhouse, 1301 Weathervane Lane
Akron, In the Valley off Merriman Road.

Cast requirements:
4 WOMEN (ages 20 - 60)
5 MEN (ages 20 - 70)
Auditions will consist of readings from the script.
Scenes will be available at the box office after June 30.
Scripts are available for perusal in the lobby during businees hours.

Director
Scott Spence has served as the Artistic Director of the Beck Center in 
Lakewood since 1992.  In that time he has directed more than 60 productions 
including "Parade, Assassins, Sweeney Todd, The Lion in Winter, The Fix" and 
"Orphans." We welcome him to Weathervane.

Noises Off
Comedy by Michael Frayn -- A touring group of actors love, laugh and pratfall 
through the tryout of a new play.  You get a peek at the backstage antics and 
learn that what happens offstage is as funny as what happens onstage!

Weathervane Playhouse is committed to non-traditional casting.  Except in 
cases where race, gender, age or disability is essential to the play, all roles 
will be cast on the basis of talent.  Weathervane Playhouse is a community 
theater.  All performers in all productions are volunteers.
