Fuddy Meers is a wild ride with Claire, a "memory-challenged" woman, and her=
=20
alleged family. Kidnapped by one husband and pursued by another, Claire seek=
s=20
the truth. Like the distorted and warped reflections of a funhouse mirror=20
(which the title alludes to), Claire sees herself reflected back to her by a=
=20
family that wants her to forget the past. There's the all-too-good-to-be-tru=
e=20
husband, a mysterious, limping stranger, the pot-smoking teenage son, a toug=
h lady=20
cop, the ventriloquist with a trash-talking dummy, and Claire's mother=E2=
=80=9A a=20
stroke victim who can only speak gibberish. David Lindsay-Abaire's play is f=
unny,=20
mysterious, and as the puzzle unravels, ultimately empowering. NOTE: For=20
mature audiences only
