Good, Old-Time, Down-Home Gospel Singing is easy to find even in this day of 
hip-hop and urban contemporary gospel.

Afi Scruggs will sing the old hymns and spirituals in the ol-time way at the 
Barking Spider Tavern on Sunday, Aug. 29 at 3 p.m. The tavern is behind the 
ARabica in University Circle.

It's just me and a piano, the way singing started out.The show is free, but 
tipping the performer is encouraged. Bring your friends and join in. I take 
requests, if I know them.
