Premiering on September 16 at 8 pm on 90.3 WCPN and WVIZ/PBS, A Quiet
Crisis The Road Back: Leveraging Lake Erie, was partially filmed onboard
the Steamship William G. Mather Museum at Clevelands North Coast Harbor.
In the midst of planning major museum upgrades and improvements, the Mather
makes a great setting on this program about the future of Northeast Ohios
greatest natural resource.
How can we better leverage Lake Erie not just to improve the quality of
life in our region but to create jobs? Stimulate commerce? Attract new
people and business? Some ideas on the next A Quiet Crisis The Road Back.

Plain Dealer Associate Editor Joe Frolik conducts interviews with four
people who have different but significant perspectives on how to better use
Lake Erie to stimulate our regional economy. Hosted by ideastreams Rick
Jackson, two of the segments were filmed onboard two ends of the Mather
Museum. As the ship is over two-football fields long, you can definitely
see two different but significant perspectives of Lake Erie.
Visit www.wcpn.org/qc for more information and rebroadcast schedule. For
Mather Museum information, go to www.wgmather.org or come aboard for a tour
weekends through October 31.
