Press Release

Chagrin Valley Little Theatre

Remembers Sandy Kasper

September 14, 2004 : At the annual Murder By the Falls fund-raiser held =
by the Chagrin Valley Little Theatre on September 10 and 11, Tom and Jo =
Neff, Co-Chairs of the 75th Anniversary Season, presented a plaque to =
the Theatre in recognition of Sandy Kasper, President of CVLT, who died =
on March 1.

=20

This, the opening event of the 75th Season, honored Sandy for her ten =
year tenure as President, longer than any other person in the Theatre's =
history. Murder By the Falls dates back to 1987 when it was first =
opened by the Womens' Committee. Sandy became involved in the event at =
an early stage and turned it into a major part of the CVLT landscape. =
She was the author of this mystery plot in 1996.

=20

Marti Calland and Sue Kluchar Co-Chaired this year's program that was =
written by Bob Fortlage and directed by Don Edelman. A cast of CVLT =
veterans performed in the mystery show which offered clues throughout =
the stores along Main Street in Chagrin Falls. Approximately 250 guests =
took part.

=20

Next on the CVLT docket is Midsummer Night's Dream which runs from =
October 8-23. It marks the introduction of the Shields Players, a young =
adult group, performing Shakespeare for the first time on the main =
stage. Kate Tonti directs the play and it is sponsored by the Emily =
Waters Foundation.
