 Weathervane Playhouse will hold OPEN CALL AUDITIONS for THE TALE OF THE =
ALLERGIST'S WIFE, by Charles Busch, Sunday and Monday, March 6 & 7 at 7 =
p.m. Auditions will be held at Weathervane Playhouse, 1301 Weathervane =
Lane, Akron, In the Valley off Merriman Road.

Cast requirements for The Tale of the Allergist's Wife:
2 Women, Marjorie & Lee (late 40s - mid 50s)
1 Woman, Frieda (mid 60s - mid 70s)
1 Man, Ira (late 40s - mid 50s)
1 Man, Mohammes (he's Arabic) (early 20s)Rehearsals Begin: March 9
You are strongly urged to be familiar with the script. The play deals =
with some "mature" subject matter. Select scenes will be used for =
auditions.

Director for The Tale of the Allergis'ts Wife is John Fagan. Fagan is an =
Akron native now living in Greenville, SC. He has returned on several =
occasions to direct for Weathervane, most recently, The Complete Works =
of William Shakespeare, Abridged. He also directed The Odd Couple =
(Female Version) and Seven Guitars. Since moving to South Carolina, he =
has directed more than 40 plays throughout the southeastern part of the =
United States and is a member of the Warehouse Theatre Board of =
Directors.

Weathervane Playhouse is committed to non-traditional casting. Except in =
cases where race, gender, age or disability is essential to the play, =
all roles will be cast on the basis of talent. Weathervane Playhouse is =
a community theater. All performers in all productions are volunteers. =
