reviews until we turned into good little zombie critics.=20
M: But much like Lindsay Lohan and syphilis we keep coming back.=20
I: Now, some people may be wonderin=E2=80=99 where we been the last couple=

M: Others may be wondering why we keep coming back.=20
I: And the answer ta both questions is llamas.=20

element, make them question not only what they were seeing, but the larger=20

M: Stopping dead in tracks. Isaac, what the hell are you talking about?=20
I: Think about it! Frumpy guy in a long coat who doesn=E2=80=99t seem ta=
fit in=20
with the rest of the world struggles valiantly to maintain his identity=20
against that world, which seems to be actively tryin=E2=80=99 to destroy hi=
m. =20
M: Did that actually come out of your mouth?=20
I: In =E2=80=9CSalesman=E2=80=9D he=E2=80=99s alive. In =E2=80=9CMan=E2=
=80=9D he ain=E2=80=99t. The guy in the play can
=E2=80=99t remember his name so Arthur Miller can=E2=80=99t sue.=20
M: Right. Anyway, the afore mentioned man with bag=E2=80=99s journey is a=
strange=20
odyssey, one that the audience shares to a degree in a unique fourth wall=20
breaking device that manages to be mesmerizing and annoying at the same tim=
e.=20
I: And that=E2=80=99s another thing. Okay, the guy is dead. I mean, even=
if he=20
wasn=E2=80=99t Willie Loman it is obvious that Iodine meant for him to be d=
ead. He=E2=80=99s=20
seein=E2=80=99 pretty much everone he ever knew, replayin key events in his=
life, and=20
gettin=E2=80=99 the fact that life sucks hammered into his brain with an Ol=
iver=20
Stonian intensity. Sounds like death to me! So he=E2=80=99s in Heaven. Gu=
ess what? To=20
make it an even healthier slice a sunshine, Heaven is at war. So not only=
=20
does life suck but so does the afterlife. Ya know, if these writers had got=
ten=20
laid on a regular basis we wouldn=E2=80=99t be havin this conversation.=20
M: (To himself) If I got laid more often we wouldn=E2=80=99t be having any.=

I: What?=20
M: In spite of the overwhelming sense of futility and depression that=20
emanates so strongly from this play that within five minutes you want to ba=
sh your=20
brains out with the person sitting next to you, it=E2=80=99s actually quite=
funny.=20
I: And the chaos conga at the end of the show is one of the coolest freaki=
n=E2=80=99
things I=E2=80=99ve seen in years.=20
M: And I give massive to credit to ANYONE who tries something that isn=E2=
=80=99t=20
Neil Simon, =E2=80=9CAnnie=E2=80=9D, or =E2=80=9CThe Laramie Project.=E2=
=80=9D The fact is, you may walk=20
out =E2=80=9CMan With Bags=E2=80=9D thinking it=E2=80=99s one of the most br=
illiant pieces you=E2=80=99ve=20
ever seen. You may walk out of it hating Ionesco, theatre, and everything=20=
that=20
is good and pure. Either way, this show will affect you. And that is=20
perhaps the greatest review you can give to art.=20
