Performing Arts Program at Fairmount

The actors' goal is to embark on a lifelong search for the key that opens
the door to their own creative inner talents. This course will help the
actor to  begin his search by exploring and strengthening the imagination
discovering how to analyze text, learning how to connect emotionally to a
character,  developing clear vocal and physical expression and lastly,
harnessing  the concentration necessary to focus all of her physical,
mental, and secret being on to the character's split second existence. 

We will work toward achieving these goals through scene work emphasizing the
study of Super Objective, the Event, Inner justification, Psychological
Action, Through-Line, Behavior, Sensory Awareness, Sense of Truth,
Personalizations, Inner Monologue, Communion, Characterization and
Relaxation.
