The Beck Center for the Arts

is proud to announce our

75th Theater Season

            Lakewood, Ohio - Our consistently excellent and eclectic
professional theater productions at the Beck Center, have won us the
respect and affection of our community. Cleveland Scene Magazine has
named us Cleveland's Best Theater Company on two occasions. The Plain
Dealer called our production of A Raisin in the Sun "one of the
highlights of Cleveland's 2004-05 theater season."=20

            Year after year, our patrons enjoy professionally produced
Broadway hits and Tony award winning plays. Affordable prices, easy
access to parking and a relaxed atmosphere make our shows the perfect
choice for a romantic date or an outing for the entire family. Disney's
Beauty and the Beast, The Full Monty and The Diary of Anne Frank, were
just some of the Broadway smashes that appeared on our Main Stage this
past season.  The ever-popular Beauty and the Beast will make a comeback
this holiday season.

            The Studio Theater caters to the tastes of our more
adventurous theatergoers. This intimate venue features a vibrant mix of
comedies, musicals and shows making their Cleveland premiere.  Recent
Studio Theater offerings include such critically acclaimed dramas as
Lillian Hellman's The Children's Hour and George Bernard Shaw's Mrs.
Warren's Profession.

            For over 75 years, the Beck Center for the Arts has been
dedicated to providing our community with an accessible, high quality
arts center focusing on theater, gallery exhibitions and comprehensive
arts education. We create an audience for tomorrow's art by offering a
wide variety of programs and activities that stimulate creativity and

revolves around a British serial killer who kidnaps and kills a

the girl's mother, as well as the killer himself and the scientist who
analyzes why a person would do such a thing.

The gothic musical based on the novel by Robert Louis Stevenson probes
