Lakewood, OH - The Beck Center for the Arts has the rare =
opportunity to present a performance by Daniel Stein, Dean of Students =
and Projects Director for The Dell'Arte International School of Physical =
Theatre, in Blue Lake, California on Monday, October 16 at 7:00 p.m. on =
the Mackey Main Stage.

Stein, a Guggenheim Fellow who has performed in over 30 countries and =
taught at institutions such as Juilliard, brings his artistry, craft and =
wit to dazzle the eye and tickle the brain. Take a look at everyday =
movements and their meanings, as well as a fascinating and funny =
exploration into the art of creativity, body language and performance. =
Don't miss this opportunity to share a fascinating evening of poetry for =
the eyes and gourmet food for thought. "One of those rare revelatory =
experiences one waits for in the theatre," says The Los Angeles Times.

Daniel Stein is widely regarded as the man who changed mime into =
movement performance with his first solo play, Timepiece. The =
prot=E9g=E9 of Etienne Decroux who carved his own way in the world of =
mime, he has taught throughout the world at institutions such as the =
Juilliard School of Drama and The Institute of Dramatic Arts, Tokyo. He =
has received numerous grants from the National Endowment for the Arts =
and was named a Guggenheim Fellow in 1990.=20
