I totally agree with David's points. Do people think that because it's =
an email, spelling/grammar doesn't matter? An email, especially one =
broadcast to the area arts community, is just as much a reflection on =
the sender as if it appeared in print. I chalk up many errors appearing =
on the NEohioPAL list to careless haste. Others, however, are clearly =
due to poor writing skills. This is dismaying and, I believe, indicative =
of a decline in educational standards.

letters to donors, public relations material, ads, and all kinds of =
