[NEohioPAL] "Oh, Coward!" is great theater

I saw another whopping good show last night! We are so lucky here in
our little corner of Ohio, to have so much excellent theater
available to us - from professional to community theater, the bar
keeps getting raised.

There are only four people in "Oh, Coward!" - the wonderful musical
director/keyboardist, John Ebner, and the three other performers:
Lisa Marie Schueller, Scott Shriner, and Timothy H. Champion - and
oh, how they light up that Coach House stage!

I'm very familiar with the work of the two gentlemen, Tim and Scott,
and they turned in their usual, terrific performances. The one I had
never seen before, Lisa Marie, impressed the heck out of me! She is
beautiful, elegant, has a fabulous singing voice and stage presence,
and her comic timing was flawless. What a treasure she is. I'm sure
that local theaters will be beating down her door very soon, if
they're not already.

Tim and Scott play off each other very well and, in fact, all four
people onstage seem as though they've been working with each other
forever, their timing is so good. They say that 90% of the director's
job is casting and Nancy Cates did that 90% perfectly. The other 10%
just added the icing to this delicious cake.

Do stop by the Coach House and see this tribute to Noel Coward before
it closes on November 17 - you'll be so glad you did!
