The Choreographed Paintings
of Natasha Turovsky
On Exhibit through December 31st 
in the Jean Bulicek Galleria

Inspired by composer Modest Mussorgsky's most famous work, Pictures at
an Exhibition, Natasha Turovsky has created a series of larger-than-life
oil paintings, some of which will be on display at the Beck Center,
November 15 through December 31 in the Jean Bulicek Galleria.
 
For this exhibit, Turovsky has skillfully compiled her choreographed
images into a short film that will play continuously during the
exhibition.  This film was selected for the 2007 New York International
Independent Film Festival Award for Excellence in Cinema for a Short
Film.  Beck Center is among five other area galleries, and the only
west-side location, presenting Turovsky's animated exhibition.
 
Beck Center for the Arts is located at 17801 Detroit Avenue in Lakewood,
just ten minutes west of downtown Cleveland.  Convenient, free on-site

Born in Russia, Natasha Turovsky is a Montreal-based surrealist artist,
professional musician and filmmaker whose work has been acclaimed
