Lake Erie Artists Gallery at Tower City (230 W. Huron Road, first floor) will hold its Artist Clearinghouse Sale Saturday, January 5 ─ Monday, January 21. All local artwork is on sale from 10% to 50% off. The gallery launched an artist networking potluck group, Artists Learning from Artists (ALFA), FREE and open to the public, every second Monday of the month, this month Monday, January 14, 6:30 p.m.

The gallery has also recently added new offerings to its website, including general manager Paula Atwell’s blog, with frequently-updated information on artists’ events and gallery news (http://www.lakeerieartists.blogspot.com) as well as the gallery’s online shop (http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=94074). The gallery recently announced the opening of its new children’s gift section, featuring art supplies and kits by local company Creativity for Kids. Lake Erie Artists Gallery now has gifts for everyone from ages three through adult.

New this season: become a Friend of the Lake Erie Artists Gallery at several levels, from the basic membership ($35) up to sponsorship level ($1000). Sponsorship-level donors receive several additional benefits, including the chance to dine with artists after single artist openings.

Lake Erie Artists Gallery offers unique gifts made by over sixty local artists. Artwork includes paintings, prints, photography, ceramics, recycled art, jewelry, found object art, fiber arts, glass, pastels, Euclid Beach memorabilia, authentic Lake Erie beach glass jewelry and driftwood, and unique Cleveland photography. Local Cleveland history books, children's books and gifts, and fiction written by local authors are part of the mix.
