OK, I don't want to start another battle of semantics, but my brain works a little differently than the norm. I read female and feminist as two separate options. I have no knowledge of a  Cleyre, Sanger, or Friedan rule book that says a feminist must be female. To me it's a belief in equality, the key word being belief. I thought I was a feminist, despite being a white male. I tried to promote equal pay and equal rights as a manager and a father.
