Mercury Summer Stock kicks off its 11th Season with the new  
"Enchanted" version of the magical musical classic: Cinderella.  
Playing June 26th and the 27th in the Parma Little Theatre, this  
timeless, enchanting fairy tale will have you reminiscing about  
living happily ever after and remembering your childhood fairy tales,  
right alongside your children (and grandchildren!).

Written and first staged for a live television broadcast in 1957,  
starring Julie Andrews and Celeste Holm, the Rodgers and Hammerstein  
version has been seen countless times around the world and is one of  
the most beloved tale stories brought to the stage. This timeless  
enchantment of a magical fairy tale is being reborn again this summer  
on Mercury’s stage with the Rodgers & Hammerstein hallmarks of  
originality, charm and elegance.

Wearing the glass slippers in the MSS production is recent  
Interlochen Arts Academy graduate Emily Grodzik alongside her prince,  
B-W Music Theatre student, Nick Varricchio. Also featured in the cast  
are local favorites Kelvette Beacham and Jen Myers as the zany  
Stepsisters and Rob Gibb filling the heels of the wicked Stepmother.   
As adapted for the stage, with great warmth and more than a touch of  
hilarity, the hearts of children and adults alike still soar when the  
slipper fits. Rated G.

This marks the Ohio Premiere of Cinderella: "Enchanted".
