Announcing Auditions for Noel Coward's "Blithe Spirit"

 

Actors of all skill levels are encouraged to audition for G. B. Community Theatre's 2009-2010 productions at the Ashtabula Arts Center.  

Auditions will be held on a first-come, first-served basis.  

 

Auditions for "Blithe Spirit" 

written by Noel Coward and directed by Linda Fundis 

will be held on Sept. 8 & 9 at 7 p.m. 

The show will require 2 adult men and 5 women.  

Readings will be from the script.  

 

This smash comedy hit of the London and Broadway stages tells the story of Charles and Ruth who plan an amusing evening with friends by inviting Madame Arcati, a medium, to their home to hold a séance. The event turns into a nightmare of hilarity, however, when Charles' very jealous first wife returns from the hereafter and attempts to take matters into her own ethereal hands! Noel Coward's improbable farce takes the audience on an amusing journey through this world and the next in one of theaters most enduring comedy classics!  Performance dates are Oct. 30, 31, Nov. 1, 6, 7, 8, 12, 13, 14, 2009
