Paul: A Musical Journey

 Written by Charles Myricks,Jr.

A powerful story of transformation, reconciliation and hope. The musical has
garnered rave reviews and received standing ovations at every performance
since it opened in Akron, OH in January, 2005. It has been called
"rollicking" and "infectious" by the Cleveland Plain Dealer and "jam packed
with soul satisfying music" by the Akron Beacon Journal.

While the story has its roots in the history of Christianity, the musical's
message is universal. Through a host of new and powerful songs, Myricks
spins a tale of love, hope and passion. David Briggs, religion writer for
the Cleveland Plain Dealer says "The musical uses a powerful blend of gospel
music, rhythm and blues, jazz and rock to tell the story in song of the life
of Paul. It covers his early days as a merciless foe of the early Christian
church through his dramatic conversion on the road to Damascus and
ultimately to his own martyrdom in service of his new faith." Paul: A
Musical Journey is a show not to be missed.
