Stop into The Dark Room this month at CPT!

The Dark Room is a place where the writers take center stage and their
work has a chance to grow. The Dark Room is a co-production of CPT and
The Cleveland Theatre Collective and is an ongoing event held on the
second Tuesday of each month.

Tuesday, October 13th in the Church at CPT!

This month: Open Mic Returns!

7:15pm - Writers can bring up to 10 pages of work to be read
7:30pm: Open Mic Session readings begin followed by Featured Reading

And don't forget - FREE Magic Hat Beer!
Writers - bring your work! Actors - come out and read!

In addition to Open Mic readings, participants can hear Men Don't Cry, a
20 minute choreopoem based on the lives of five men of color written by
Stephen Hood.

ABOUT MEN DON'T CRY: Come journey with these five men from childhood
through adulthood; through trials, surviving life's drama, successes and
identity failures. Discover manhood and the wisdom that follows through
death, spirituality and growth. Five men share their deepest secrets of
discovery and what the future holds.

The Dark Room is a co-production of CPT and The Cleveland Theatre
Collective and affords emerging and veteran playwrights the space and
resources to develop new works. It offers a venue to workshop plays,
novels, poems, or any other written work in a supportive, yet critical
environment.
