Getting a theater to produce a new script is tough enough in a good economy. In today's environment, it is nothing short of a miracle that Geauga Theater is producing an original radio drama on their community theater stage this weekend - and that all the money raised is going towards the development of a full-service arts center for Geauga County.

Director Mark Cipra, a phenomenal technical team, a cast of 16, and four instrumentalists from Marty Carney's Madison Jazz Project are all working for a pittance (or less) to present Radio Boy - and the entire show has been put together in less than four months, including writing the script and several live staged commercials in the style of the Golden Age of Radio.

There are still $20 seats left for the Friday evening (11/13) and Saturday evening (11/14) - 8 p.m. performances - and the Sunday matinee on 11/15 at 2 p.m. is open to the community on a pay-what-you-can basis.

If you share our belief that art has the power to transform lives and communities for the better - in the best and worst of times - please consider driving out to see us. Your support is sincerely appreciated.
