Comedians and performers join area supporters in creating an evening of
laughter and compassion at Chalet Debonne Winery.



"The Great Lake Medieval Cares Comedy Showcase"

One night only, Rain or Shine

Aug 7, 8:30pm until we are done laughing

Chalet Debonne Winery, Madison, Ohio



The performers, vendors, food workers, and patrons of the Great Lakes
Medieval Faire have decided to take an opportunity to make a positive local
and global impact with a comedy show, charity event. The participants have
organized independently of the management of the faire to give back to the
Northern Ohio community that has suppported them for so many years.



Event organizer and comedian Spencer Humm, says, “I am very excited to see
folks stepping forward to support the very simple idea of helping people in
need through laughter and a good time. Chalet Debonne Winery has been an
enthusiastic partner in the idea and the many performers who have
volunteered their entertainment are talking about doing some really
outrageous stuff, so it should be a blast. We wanted to have both a global
and local impact, so we’ve chosen both some Northern Ohio and international
charities.”



Canned and Non-perishable food donations, as well as clothing will be
accepted at the event and contributed to local food and clothing drives.
Donations and all admission profits will go to support a clean water project
overseas.



A showcase of award-winning and nationally touring comedy acts will fill the
evening with laughter and hilarity.  Humm says, “Entertainers credits
include national television, Las Vegas Casinos, USO Tours, with literally
tens of thousands of hysterical shows under their belts.” The show will be
under the stars at Chalet Debonne Winery who has promised to offer a
selection of their fine wines and food for the merrymaking.
