Stocker Arts Center this week!

Tomorrow night - Wednesday - October 6 - 7:30pm!
American Stars in Concert Celebrate Motown! 
Now in time for Motown's 50th Anniversary, four of your favorite
American Idol finalists come together for a fun-filled night of music!
LaKisha Jones, Gina Glocksen, David Hernandez and  Michael Sarver join
forces to bring you an electrifying concert of songs that catapulted
them to national stardom, as well as selections from their current CD's
along with your favorite Motown hits!

Tickets: $25/Orchestra; $20/Mezzanine. College Students and Youth 18 and
under are only $10. This show qualifies for our Take A Chance ticket
program. Tickets discounted to 1/2 off the TOP ticket price 90 minutes
prior to curtain - available in person at the Stocker Box Office only.

"The Wild Parrots of Telegraph Hill"/"Mid-August Lunch"

THE WILD PARROTS OF TELEGRAPH HILL- 7:30PM

An uncommon bond between man and nature is the focus of Judy Irving's
wonderful and informative documentary which follows Mark Bittner, an
unemployed aging hippie, whose life takes on new meaning when he starts
feeding a flock of wild Conures

. 

MID-AUGUST LUNCH - 9:15 pm  Italy/subtitles Director: Gianni Di Gregorio
This international smash hit is an utterly charming tale of good food,
feisty ladies, and unlikely friendships during a very Roman holiday.
Winner of prizes at international festivals including Best First Film at
Venice and the Satyajit Ray Award at London, plus the Golden Snail at
the Academy of Food and Film in Bologna, MID-AUGUST LUNCH is both a
warmly vibrant family story and delicately balanced comedy of manners.

Kenya Safari Acrobats

so, the Kenya Safari Acrobats are just the ticket! Combining artistry
with humor and playfulness, these gymnasts perform a unique and
eye-popping blend of traditional arts and acrobatic circus skills in
classic African style, taking them to exhilarating extremes.
