Mercury Summer Stock
ATTENTION ALL TEENS!

Local theatre company Mercury Summer Stock is looking to recruit new members, ages 13-18 from different area high schools, to its Teen Board of Trustees. Board members can earn up to 100 service hours by participating in all teen events in the summer, including teen-coordinated fundraisers in which they will be able to perform! Mercury will also sponsor teen theatre nights during each of this season's main productions. Members will also have the chance to see Mercury shows for free by volunteering to usher!

Mercury Summer Stock's Teen Board was established in the spring of 2009 to increase teen involvement in Mercury's productions, educational opportunities, and community events. Members meet on a monthly basis to develop and lead teen programs that will allow them to work with professional theatre artists and make new friends. The Teen Board operates in conjunction with Mercury's Board of Directors.

Founded in 1998, Mercury Summer Stock (MSS) is a professionally based, not-for-profit, community-supported stock theatre serving the artistic and cultural needs of the Cleveland Metropolitan area with a tradition of presenting high quality, premier or rarely performed works. MSS strives to bring theatrical talent back into the area as well as to provide local performers opportunities to work on and off stage with theatre professionals. Mercury Summer Stock seeks to serve the community by entertaining, enlightening, and celebrating the best of the human spirit through art.
