Everyone is invited to audition for our Spring Season of One Acts!!!!!
 
We need :  3 men
                 3 women
                 plus 6-8 more actors, either gender (including dancers)


 
For parts in the following plays:
 

**A Corpse with Feet by Betsuyaku Minoru
FEB 25 & 26 at 7:30, Feb 27 at 2pm 
 
This Japanese absurdist play depicts a strange encounter by a man trapped a train crosswalk and the unusual woman dragging a bag with unusual contents.  Comedy and tragedy ensue as the lives of these two strangers intertwine.
 
Needed:  One Man, One Woman, any adult age
 
 
**It’s Called the Sugar Plum by Israel Horovitz
March 17, 18 & 19 at 7:30 and March 20 at 2pm 
 
This compelling one-act tells the story of Zuckerman, a college student who ran over and killed a young man riding a skate board, and Joanna, the fiancée of the dead man, and the unexpected twists and turns that occur when Joanna confronts him.  This production is in partial completion of the BFA degree in Theatre by Joe Fath, who not only plays Zuckerman but also selected this show as well as working on numerous design and production aspects of the show.
 
Needed:  One Woman, college aged
 
**Requiem by Leonid Andreyev 
April 7, 8, & 9 at 7:30 and April 10 at 2:00pm 
 
Requiem is a masterpiece of Russian expressionism which re-tells in a theatre setting the tale of a mysterious masked patron commissioning a “death” play (paralleling the famous myth about Mozart). 
 
Needed:  One Man, Three more characters, any gender, adult ages
 
 
**Jet of Blood by Antonin Artaud
April 7, 8, & 9 at 7:30 and April 10 at 2:00pm 
 
Jet of Blood is one of the most popular surrealist plays, depicts a young man’s quest for the perfect woman, be she virgin or harlot.  This play is rated “R” for sexual content.  
 
Needed:  6-8 men and women, any age, dancers needed
 
Audition dates:  Jan 25 and 27, 6pm the CK Rickel Theater in the Royce Hall for the Fine and Performing Arts
 
Callbacks:  Monday January 31 at 6pm
 
Backstage workers and board operators also needed.
