Tri-C ArtsPrep Jazz Program

SUMMER WITH THE JAZZ MASTERS

Summer With The Jazz Masters returns to its original format that made it
so famous.  

 

Recognized internationally for the caliber of its jazz education
programs, Summer With The Jazz Masters includes ensemble practice,
theory and improvisation.  Students enjoy the opportunity to perform in
both small group and large ensembles; superb faculty; and the
opportunity to work with guest artists, which have included Wynton
Marsalis, John and Jeff Clayton, James Moody, Bucky Pizzarelli, Louis
Bellson, Marcus Belgrave and David "Fathead" Newman, among others.

 

Students meet Monday - Wednesday - Friday from 9:00 am - 4:00 pm for
four weeks.  The last week we add Thursday as preparation for the end of
session performance on  Friday, July 22nd.

 

June 27-July 22, 2011, Monday - Wednesday - Friday, 9:00 am - 4:00 pm

Plus Thursday July 21st, 9:00 am - 4:00 pm

Ages 12-18                       Price: $350

 

 

ArtsPrep is a certified member of the National Guild of Community
Schools of the Arts.

 

The program takes place in the state-of-the-art Center for Creative Arts
* Rooms 310/312 

and in the Metro Auditorium.
