Give your children the gift of theatre this summer at TrueNorth! The  
TrueNorthTheatre Camp is a fun way to spend the summer learning all  
about theatre in a supportive non-competitive environment. You  
children will have a great time learning all about theatre while  
performing and working right alongside professional theatre artists.

Classes & Activities

Theatre camps are offered for children ages 3 up through high school  
seniors. The camps are great as an introduction to theatre or for more  
experienced actors. Activities include

Acting
Singing
Dance
Improv
Playwrighting
Creative Movement
Storytelling
Poetry
Theatre Games
Character Development
Audition Coaching
Costume & Scene Design
and more!

The TrueNorth staff is comprised of actors, directors, and theatre  
artists who are among the top working professionals in the region.

Performance Opportunities

Each camp ends in a fully staged performance on the TrueNorth stage.  
In addition to the final performance, each camper will have the  
opportunity to perform at TrueNorth's ArtsFest on July 3rd in front of  
thousands of people at Miller Road Park in Avon Lake.

This year's theatre camp shows include:

Teddy Bear Picnic (Overture Camp)
Treasure Hunt (Spotlight Camp)
Middle School Musical  (Center Stage Camp)
Alice in Wonderland, Jr. (Broadway Bound Camp)

Location

Located on 400 wooded acres of the French Creek Nature & Art Center in  
Sheffield Village, TrueNorth is in partnership with the Lorain County  
Metro Parks and is proud to be one of Lorain County's professional  
theatres. The facility is located just 10 minutes west of Crocker Park  
and only 25 minutes from downtown Cleveland. Free on-site parking is  
available. While your child is at camp, feel free to walk the trails  
or visit our Art Gallery, a retail gallery with offerings from local  
artists.

Cost

The TrueNorth Theatre Camp is one of the most affordably priced summer  
programs in the region. Prices for each camp are available at www.TNCATheatreCamp.org 
. Financial Aid (application) and Talent Scholarships (audition) are  
available before May 6th for those who qualify. For more information
