In the mid 90x, Kambri Crews was active in the NEO theatre scene, especially at Weathervane Playhouse, where she delighted audiences in Noises Off, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Cat on A Hot Tin Roof, and Born Yesterday. And she was one of the core players at Mysteries by Moushey, appearing in over 40 interactive-comedy performances.

Then she left the area, ultimately ending up in NYC, where she’s a publicist, writer, producer, storyteller and, most recently, a published author. Her memoir, Burning Down The Ground was published in February 2012 by Random House and already has garnered amazing reviews and acclaim.

Kambri and her husband, comedian Christian Finnegan, will be in town March 29 through April 1. Christian will be onstage that weekend at the Cleveland Improv and Kambri will be doing radio interviews and appearing at a book-signing event at the Blue Rock Cafe on SUNDAY, APRIL 1 at 3pm. The event, sponsored by The Learned Owl Book Shop, is open to the public and, as an added bonus, Christian will warm up the crowd for Kambri. (Not that she ever needed much help in that department!) Please come – she’s dying to visit with her old friends and make some new ones!

Join Kambri and Christian on SUNDAY, APRIL 1 at 3pm at the Blue Rock Café - 5927 Darrow Rd/Route 91 in Hudson, in the plaza with Zeppe’s.
