Hello Everyone!

*For anyone who may be a junior or senior next year, there are still 6
slots open at the ACADEMY FOR THE PERFORMING ARTS* at Chagrin Falls High
School.

Auditions for *Les MIserables* begin the first week of school!

Students from *West Geauga, Aurora, Solon, Chagrin Falls, Orange,
Beachwood, Mayfield, Richmond Heights and Brush* are eligible to audition.

So heres how it works:

1. You study for 2 years as part of your regular school day.  1/2 Day - 5
days a week.  Fully accredited with your high school.

2. You get 6 hours of college credit.

3. You study theatre and voice with some of the finest professionals in
Northeast Ohio, including:

Tom Fulton
Bernadette Clemens
Mitchell Fields
Dusten Welch (Artistic Director of FPAC)
Ben Needham
Caitlin Van Neil
Wendy Kriss
Colleen Williams
And many other master classes and guest artists.

4. You get prepared to audition for some of the finest theatre schools in
the country.  And you get a great shot at some good scholarships.

Our 2011 Senior class garnered $1.17 Million in Talent and Academic
Scholarships
Our 2012 Senior class garnered $1.03 Million in Talent and Academic
Scholarships

5. Trips to the Shaw Festival, The Stratford Shakespeare Festival and/or
local professional productions are planned every year.

6. Audition in front of many college theatre directors to get feedback on
your auditions before you actually start your tour.

*7.  As an Academy Member you are eligible to audition for our 8 fully
mounted productions a year, as well as 8 Senior Projects, and other student
written productions.*
