The Subscription Services Agent will enter and participate in a uniquely collegial and professional environment, where creativity is honored, cooperation can be expected, and work is fun

Position: Temporary Part-Time, 20 hours a week.  Hours are between 9am and 3pm, but flexible depending on schedule.  Approximate end date is September 30th.

The Education Sales Assistant will work with Education Department to help generate revenue and outreach for the 2013 Classroom Matinee Touring Program.  The goal of the 2013 Touring Program is to reach as many students and teachers as possible and expose them to the top-tier theater that Cleveland Play House offers!  The Touring Program is aimed for K-3rd graders that help to enhance the Social Studies Curriculum through art and theater.  The Education Sales Assistant should enjoy speaking with teachers and administrators about the power of theater in schools.  The Education Sales Assistant will make contact with school districts in Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Michigan and effectively articulate the value of the Classroom Matinee program in their classroom!

Salary Range: Minimum Wage plus commission
Reports to: Education Director

Preferred Qualifications:
o   Experience in non-profit arts sales/service

Duties/Key Deliverables:
*      Outreach and cultivate contacts within counties and school districts.
*      Responsible for meeting revenue expectations and goals.
*      Work with Education Director and Education Associate to develop sales strategies for sales team.
*      Enjoy talking with educators and schools about theater and education programming.

Skills:
Demonstrated skill in written and verbal communication
Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work to deadline in a demanding, fun, fast-paced environment.
Ability to efficiently enter data in PC and Education Database system (Microsoft Access) Microsoft Access experience preferred.
Good sense of humor
