Cuando Cierras Your Eyes | When You Close Tus Ojos

Cleveland Public Theatre is proud to present Teatro Publico de Cleveland's inaugural production, a work-in-progress entitled Cuando Cierras Your Eyes.

When You Close Tus Ojos weaves comedic scenes, ancestral stories and haunting tales into an original story that celebrates the multiplicity of Latin American identities in the Cleveland area. The play was developed collaboratively by Teatro Publico de Cleveland ensemble members and CPT's Executive Artistic Director, Raymond Bobgan.

The work-in-progress play Cuando Cierras Your Eyes will be presented November 8-9 in conjunction with a community arts event featuring live music, a gallery exhibition by Latin American artists, Spanish & Latin food, and a dance party featuring local DJs. The When You Close Tus Ojos performance and all activities will be held at CPT's James Levin Theatre, 6415 Detroit Avenue, Cleveland, Ohio 44102. The complete schedule is listed below:

6pm: Live music, appetizers and gallery exhibition by local Latin American artists
7pm: Performance of Cuando Cierras Your Eyes | When You Close Tus Ojos
8pm: Dance party featuring local DJs, delicious food and a cash bar

Musical guests include Rey's Rice and Beans Band / DJ Taz (Nov 8) and Grupo Escensia / DJ Vic (Nov 9).
Visual artists include María de Jesus Paz, Diego López, José Bruno Casiano, Robertino Yanzanny, Rafael Valdivieso Troya, Héctor Castellanos Lara.
Catering will be provided by JiBARO.
