The professional *a capella* vocal ensemble *Contrapunctus* will be holding
auditions for all voice parts on *Saturday, January 18, 10:00am-2:00pm*, in
the Choir Room of Trinity Episcopal Cathedral - 2230 Euclid Avenue,
Cleveland, 44115 (http://trinitycleveland.org/).

 These auditions are *by appointment only*: please call *216-217-7721
<#>*to reserve your time. When making your appointment, please be
prepared to
list what pieces you will be singing: as this is an ensemble audition you
should prepare an *a capella* multi-voice selection - there will be an
ensemble on hand to sing the other parts as needed - as well as any *a
capella* solo piece you may wish to prepare.

 So if you're interested in ensemble singing that takes you from the
medieval through the modern, we hope to hear from you!

 *Note:* Contrapunctus is a professional ensemble, and as such all members
are compensated for their time. And while we most certainly welcome all
interested singers to audition, we would ask that you please consider that
this ensemble functions with *very limited rehearsal* (2-3 per concert),
and members are therefore expected to be *performance-ready when they
arrive at the first rehearsal *- if you are someone who needs a bit of help
learning notes or intervals, or have very little time for self-preparation
outside of formal rehearsals, then unfortunately this isn't the group for
you.

performance of sacred and secular music from the middle ages through the
modern era, combining polyphony, literature, art and dialogue to create
