There's a lot happening this April celebrating block busters filmed in our
region.  We congratulate those whose contributions made Cleveland a shining
star and brought a bit of glitz and glamour to our streets.  Well done!


On April 3rd we'll be continuing our celebration of Independent Film and the
bold professionals who have proven that NEO is a 24/7 film making industry.
Join FILMCLEVELAND! for another event aimed at you!  


What has amazing visual and special effects, top tier talent, and twists
galore?  Our sneak preview of The Signal trailer, the latest film by Guest
speaker Producer Tyler Davidson of course.  Opening nationally in June and
filmed in the Cleveland region and New Mexico, The Signal is great film
making that is already creating a buzz.  Tyler will be sharing insight into
making award winning films in his back yard...showcasing great locations,
dynamic regional talent, and stellar story telling.  What's on the horizon?
You don't want to miss this chat!


Vendors with new deals for those in attendance will be on hand to talk about
opportunities to connect.  Give aways from Atlas Cinemas as well as
complimentary food and cash bar are just a part of the evening as we
showcase trailers and shorts from the film making community.  The excitement
is building waiting to see who might be offered distribution deals from
IFlix/Maverick Entertainment and the winner of this event's $250.00 prize.

Tyler Davidson - Biography (short)

An award-winning independent film producer, Tyler Davidson is the co-founder
and president of Low Spark Films, an Ohio-based feature production company.
Named one of Variety's "10 Producers to Watch" in 2011, Mr. Davidson's most
recent film is The Signal, from director/co-writer William Eubank, and
starring Brenton Thwaites and Laurence Fishburne.  The film premiered at the
2014 Sundance Film Festival and will be released by Focus Features this
summer.  Davidson has produced acclaimed Sundance Film Festival hits in each
of the last four years: Sony Pictures Classics release Take Shelter (2011),
from writer/director Jeff Nichols, starring Michael Shannon and Jessica
Chastain; Magnolia Pictures release Compliance (2012), from writer/director
Craig Zobel; CBS Films release The Kings of Summer (2013), directed by
Jordan Vogt-Roberts from The Black List-cited script by Chris Galletta; and
this year's upcoming Focus Features release, The Signal, from
writer/director William Eubank, starring Brenton Thwaites and Laurence
Fishburne.  Davidson, a Greater Cleveland, Ohio native and resident, also
produced The Year That Trembled (2002) and Swedish Auto (2006).
