Three concerts will be presented in the Cleveland area:  Friday, May 30th
in Lakewood, Saturday in Cleveland Heights, and Sunday downtown.


*Experience the passion & tyranny of unrequited love in 18th century
Italian cantatas by Giovanni Bononcini, Nicola Porpora and Domenico
Scarlatti, which are rivalled in drama and virtuosity with violin & cello
sonatas by Scarlatti, Porpora & Francesco Maria Veracini. Though these
Italian Baroque composers are perhaps not as familiar to the modern
audience as their contemporaries, J.S. Bach and G.F. Handel, in their own
day they were revered as some of the most successful and brightest stars in
the musical world. Burning River Baroque invites you to join them in
unfolding the drama of these innovative triumphs of the late Italian
Baroque!*
